caroCaroline Wozniacki joined the Williams sisters for some fine steak before heading North to Ponte Vedra for the MPS Group Championships.

Speaking today during media hour, Wozniacki said the sisters took her out on the town one night while in Miami.

“They are really nice girls. We had a lot of fun,” she said. “We went for dinner to Ruth’s Chris steakhouse, It was really, really good.”

The Ponte Vedra Ruth’s Chris which is just a mile from the tournament is now on notice.

Wozniacki has been here since Friday and she’s not just been on the tennis court. She also had some fun hitting the golf course yesterday, but the Dane star was reluctant to reveal any score.

“It could have been better. It was not a really great day at the office,” she said. “We went nine holes and we really don’t want to talk about that [scores]. It really didn’t go well.”

Wozniacki admitted she hit one ball in the water, which isn’t bad considering the Sawgrass Valley course is more than a few water hazards.

Wozniacki is currently just one position behind world No. 1 Serena Williams in the WTA rankings, but the 19-year-old isn’t thinking about taking over the top spot just yet.

“I don’t really think about the rankings too much,” she said. “I want to improve and I want to win tournaments and that’s my goal. If I do that then the rankings will come automatically.”

And when asked about twitter, she said, “It gives the fans the opportunity to know what your are doing, what you are up to and what you like to do. It give them a different view of your personality because it’s different when you are on court it’s one thing but also off court your have a lot of hobbies and of other things you like to do.”
