Entering her semifinal with Elena Dementieva today at Wimbledon, Serena Williams, in 508 career matches, had never lost two tiebreakers in a single match.
Serena of course lost the first set to Dementieva and very nearly played a second tiebreak in the second set, but the American broke Elena for 6-5 then pumped two timely aces to close out the set 7-5.
Serena has won seven straight Slam semifinal matches. Sister Venus is 7-0 in Wimbledon semifinals.

So much luck for Serena. It was noway fair!!! Dementieva was the better player today, except from the serve. So I think Serena has to thank all the gods in the world plus the net for her victory today. So sorry about Dementieva….
