Where have 14 years gone. 😳Paris master series win versus Pistol Pete was my best memory on tour . He was going for 6 years in a row as the world number 1 at the end of the season. So to beat him in the final was special. https://t.co/TMbduFSaw9

@GilmourHWC @TheMasters Not a clue, as nobody is showing real form. That’s why it is so gripping . The final 9 holes is always the best golf all year.

@TennisBuzzBlog Transparency of revenue from tournaments, sponsorships, and how revenue is used and distributed is important in our sport . Having an intelligent discussion with the facts is the only way forward for the players, tournaments, and governing bodies.

@marcus_buckland @primevideosport It is , by not having Indian Wells & Miami back to back creates this problem. If you play Acapulco it makes perfect sense to play Miami.

@thedogh06218757 @rolandgarros Agreed. Also when you win your first slam it sometimes takes a player a little longer to get back to their best , because of extra expectations.

No surprise Thiem and Nadal are missing Miami to get ready for their historically best part of the season on clay courts . It gives them a longer training block and perfect preparation leading up to @rolandgarros

@TennisBuzzBlog Easy to manage . As new ranking system to protect for Covid -19 should be for entry and other should be the real ranking were Rublev should be number 4 in the world with his results over the 52 weeks.

@TennisBuzzBlog This has been going on in tennis for years. Whether it is an management group, agent , player or federation what difference does it make. Tournaments have the choice to grant wildcards at their discretion. Financially it made sense for them to secure Stefanos.

You know your going to be fresh for your semifinal match today when you haven’t even had to play a point . That’s what @AndreyRublev97 has managed this week. Incredible! Has this ever happened before on either tour before to make a semi? And who ,if so?

Going to be fascinating to watch Dan Evans versus Roger Federer. What I will be looking out for tomorrow is the Federer movement as this could be the biggest challenge on the comeback. Striking the ball won’t be a problem. Can’t wait to see the comeback.

@tennistonic With Slow to medium it just becomes more of a physical test. You can still have great rallies with medium to medium/ fast courts. Not just serves. It is personal preferences. With string technology it is much harder to miss the ball .

@MattRacquet Impressive stats. Tsitsipas looks pretty tired but still fighting. I would still like faster courts indoors.

  • Greg Rusedski (GregRusedski1) - one month ago
How slow are the courts in Rotterdam? This is an extremely physical match between Tsitsipas and Rublev . Indoor courts should be faster than what we are watching now as it should benefit the attacking player. Hard to hit a winner.

Karen Khachanov looks like he is starting to get his form back from two years ago when we thought he would be a consistent top 10 player. He is too good not to be. That would mean the possibility of 3 Russian men in top 10 by the end of 2021.

  • Greg Rusedski (GregRusedski1) - one month ago
@SuzyQue39953297 My argument would be to use
the Atp system for entry which would allow the players to play and be protected ,but the rankings should actually show true form as it already has been a year and those who have performed have lost moving up.

    0 8
  • Greg Rusedski (GregRusedski1) - one month ago
Should this actually be the real ranking that counts on your ranking history? Then use Atp system for entry until a full year is done, which is hopefully by the end of 2021. Then go back to 52 week ranking? https://t.co/ZFYL4eAGUw

@TennisBuzzBlog I think that since the media is awash with incorrect claims that Novak has benefitted from the new rules Yolita's impressive fact check on how the rankings would look without the change should be shared. https://t.co/FKjCzT9Yxx
